Challenge 1: Lack of Access to Multi-Purpose, Specialty-Compatible Equipment Channels

The hospital struggled to source versatile medical equipment adaptable to diverse specialties and patient needs. Most existing devices had limited functionality, leading to inefficient workflows and redundant purchases. They needed a medical equipment solution that could support both adult and pediatric applications — like a C-arm usable across orthopedics and pediatric surgery — without requiring separate devices.

Challenge 2: No Access to Climate-Resilient Equipment Channels

Then there’s the climate. The hospital is located in a region with high temperatures (15–38°C) and humidity (71–85%). Most standard medical equipment just couldn’t handle it. They broke down, rusted, lost calibration, and forced the hospital to deal with endless repairs and short equipment lifespans. Few medical equipment suppliers they can find could guarantee a medical equipment solution with devices that actually worked in such climatic conditions, which put both their services and investments at risk.

Challenge 3: Low Staff Adoption of New Equipment

And even when they did get advanced medical equipment through their hospital equipment procurement, it didn’t always help. Complicated controls, confusing instructions, and not enough training meant staff often can’t use these medical equipment fluently. That left a gap between what the medical equipment could do and what actually happened on the ground — so the hospital wasn’t getting the full value from their medical equipment solution upgrades.
